Ruinz ASON

Born in South London to Reggae Musician parents, Artist Ruinz ASON describes being literaly obsessed with Music from a very early age. learning to play by ear; Keyboard, Bass and Drums eventually falling in love with Producing, Songwriting and Recording.

Due to having a Love for a multitude of musical Genres and not being one to ground to one particular sound, Ruinz ASON’s music is noted for integrating and re-imagining many Musical  influences, Cultures and genres from Hip-Hop, Trap & Grime to Afro beats & Reggae All the way to Psychedelic, Soul And World influences while maintaning a distinct  South London Sound!

Over the years Ason's Music has been played extensively across many radio station and supported by Dj's such as; 

Jess Iszatt (BBC  Radio London), Huw Stevens (BBC Radio 1) 

Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC 6Music),   Steve Lamaq (BBC 6 Music), Tom Robinson (BBC Music/Fresh on the net

Writers to feature Ason's music include; Michelle Lhooq (The Fader, Vice, Thump), Louise Dodgson (The Unsigned Guide) and Hattie Collins (Rwd Magazine, The Guardian, ID Magazine) with the latter describing him as  "A Gifted Rhymer with plenty of Flows and Concepts, offering up the good and not so good sides of Life."
